Stuart Weitzman has been synonymous with quality and stylish for more than 30 years. The American luxury brand is sold in over 75 countries and boasts over 70 retail stores. The designer’s philosophy is fashion and function, aiming to create a shoe that feels as good as it looks. Last year, Stuart Weitzman stepped down as creative designer from his eponymous line, handing the reigns to Giovanni Morelli, the former creative designer for brands like Chloe and Marc Jacobs.
That said, Fall 2018 is a cause for celebration for fashionistas worldwide. Morelli’s fresh eye and knack for innovation has given rise to a unique and truly exciting line of footwear, from combat boots, to mink slides, to crystal embellished mules. I had the privilege of seeing these beauties in person on my most recent Market trip, and I remember leaving the showroom inspired. GAL Fashion is thrilled to be the exclusive retailer of Stuart Weitzman shoes in El Paso.
Now, let’s talk trends. Spring 2018, Weitzman’s last season at the helm of his company, was all about casual comfort. This Spring, enjoy flats or a blocked heel (your sky high stilettos and wedges can stay on your shelf!). The lower the better — What a relief, considering the retail world can be brutal on your feet.
We’ve seen a great response to flat shoes and sneakers in the store. Some clients want to know, “How do you style sneakers?” or, “How can you dress up slides?” There are many ways to style your kicks, and here, I show you how. Pictured below, I styled my top 3 picks for the Spring 2018 Weitzman collection.
The “One” Crystalized Mule: A perfect example of how you can dress up or dress down with the same shoe. The Gaming: A rose gold metallic sneaker can be paired with a day dress or a casual Sunday outfit. The Sandbar: My all-time favorite. Here, I’ve styled a chic outfit and travelwear.
I’m always happy to answer any styling questions and comments at email@example.com. Remember, GAL Fashion is the exclusive Stuart Weitzman retailer in El Paso. You can pre-order your favorite pieces at shop.galfashion.com.
